About Me

I’m Billy and I like to build cool stuff. Sometimes, it’s for me and sometimes it’s for someone else. Either way, I throw myself into the project to make it as amazing as possible. This is the part that I love most, turning an idea into something tangible.

Over time, I found a new passion, communicating to people about how fantastic it is to make things. I spent over 20 years working in careers that required a lot of public speaking. I’m comfortable talking in front of an audience and communicating a message. I believe that it’s important for all of us in the maker community to communicate how wonderful and personally gratifying it is to make things. I want to create an open, fun learning environment in which we all can thrive.
