I’m fortunate enough to have a really large shop. As I’ve purchased more large-sized tools over the years, I’ve outgrown my current shop layout and needed a remodel. This video shows one of the phases for making the shop a more usable space. I relocated my tool wall from one wall to another, but it was way too small. I replaced it using 10ft long tongue and groove pine from the big box store. I wanted it dark so I dyed it dark brown and then used lighter colored wood for the tool holders.

I made jigs for holding the following woodworking tools:

  • Chisels

  • Squares

  • Combination squares

  • Card scrapers

  • Saws

  • Marking knives and gauges

  • Various hand planes

  • Mallets

Plus, I made a drill charging station! It holds four drills and has a shelf for holding the charger and extra batteries.
