Replica Antique Whiskey Box

I have an antique wood whiskey box that I think looks really cool!  The customer would buy a bottle of whiskey, which came in a beautiful wooden box.  From my research, I believe it was made in the 1950s.  It looks really cool, especially the stamps on it.  So I decided to try to build a replica version of the box.

It’s an antique so the condition makes it difficult to see all the details.  That caused a lot of setbacks and frustrations.  Plus, it made me find pictures online of other wooden boxes to get a better idea of how it was constructed and the details of the stamps.  All said and done, I am blown away at it!  I really love how it turned out.  I never expected such a spur of the moment idea to turn into one my favorite projects ever.
