Make Your Own Templates

Ever find a picture and wanted to use it as a template or pattern for your woodworking project? This video will show you one process to turn a picture into the template that you need to make something really awesome. There are several ways to make a woodworking template.  This video goes over one of the ways to do it.  You may come across another way to create templates.  If so, leave a comment and share your techniques.

I like to use Inkscape to make templates.  Inkscape is a free vector software.  You can download here: https://inkscape.org.  This video is NOT SPONSORED.  I like Inscape and wish someone would have shown me some of these tips when I first downloaded it.

For this video, I show how to take an illustration from online and turn it into a template.  I found the picture on Pixabay, which has royalty free graphics.  I picked out a truck carrying pumpkins…because this video is coming out in the fall.
