Scroll Saw Tricks

These are ALL of my tricks for how to make insane scroll saw art.  I used a beautiful picture drawn by Michael Cho, a famous Marvel Comics artist, and turned it into wood artwork.  I didn’t use any dye, stain, or paint.  All of the colors are natural wood species.  It’s incredible the crazy wood colors that were used.  I love Marvel comics and the Hulk is a fan favorite.  But this video isn’t really about making a Hulk picture out of wood.  It shows you the steps you can take to make scroll saw art.  You can apply any of the scroll sawing techniques from this video to make your own art from any picture you’d like.

Scroll sawing is an excellent way to get into woodworking.  A scroll saw is pretty easy to use and there are a ton of opportunities for you to make some creative woodworking projects.  If you want to see my first scroll saw project and the lessons I learned then check out this video:  https://newtonmakes.com/blog/first-time-scroll-sawing
