Watch Display Case
A few years ago I made a watch display case. Since then I’ve received a lot of questions and requests for project plans. So I made another one! This project is made from walnut that I chainsaw milled. It has brass splines and a glass lid. There was a ton of work put into this woodworking project. The wood box construction consists of wrap around grain. It has an interlocking wooden divider system inside to hold each watch. I put black leather on the bottom of the inside of the box, which matches the watch pillows I use. Once it was built, I applied a hard wax finish to the wood box.
If you are interested in making this display case or a woodworking project similar to it, head over to my watch display case tutorial series and take the online class that goes over every step of the building process. Once you sign up, you can view the eight-part video series as many times as you want and create your own watch display case at your own pace. You can also ask questions and get assistance along the way. Customize this project to make it your own. You can use it to store anything you’d like.
