Puzzle Box Build Plans
Want to challenge yourself and also make something that will impress your friends and family? Try making a puzzle box. This project is inspired by traditional Japanese puzzle boxes and requires 12 steps to fully open. It’s a beautiful design requiring pieces to move up, down, and sideways. Once opened, you will have access to the main box compartment and a secret drawer.
The overall size is approximately 3” tall x 3.75” wide x 5” long, but it’s easy to customize the box to your specifications. Put candy or a special present inside and watch the family (especially kids!) bumble their way through it!
These wood box project plans are 21 pages with over 60 pictures and diagrams that breakdown each step of the process. This is one of my favorite project builds and I’m sure it will be yours too once you give it a shot!
